Vintage furniture made to stand the test of time
Many of my furniture pieces left a factory in England or Denmark over 50 years ago, and they've truly stood the test of time. I've inspected, cleaned, and sympathetically restored all pieces where needed. Delivery is also available for some large items, priced separately in consultation.

An unusually shaped mid-century coffee table by Vanson, with a stepped, asymmetric top and four slim, tapering beech legs. A softly rounded cut-out along one side creates a broader section at one end, giving it a distinctive silhouette that’s particularly lovely when viewed from above.

A Danish mid-century coffee table by Henning Kjærnulf for Vejle Stole & Møbelfabrik, with a square top, gently tapered legs and the maker’s stamp to the underside. Its understated design gives the grain and warm colour of the wood plenty of room to be appreciated.

A fully restored 1960s chest from G Plan’s Tola & Black / Librenza range, designed by Leslie G. Dandy. Richly patterned timber, a black underframe and brass fittings give this piece the distinctive look that makes the range so appealing.
£245
A proper heavyweight of a coffee table, with a solid timber frame, thick planked top and substantial black metal fittings. The wood has lovely variations in colour, from honey and amber to deeper brown, with pronounced grain, knots and surface marks running across the individual boards.

£195
A beautifully simple 1960s teak cabinet, originally designed to house the hi-fi equipment of the day. The discreet ventilation slots running along the back of the top are a lovely little clue to its original purpose, allowing heat from amplifiers and other equipment to escape without disturbing those wonderfully unfussy lines.
