G Plan Brandon Corner Bureau
A wonderful mid-century bureau from G Plan’s sought-after Brandon range, with the warm oak finish and beautifully shaped detailing that make these early G Plan pieces so distinctive.
The upper section opens to reveal a writing surface with a fitted interior of pigeonholes and small shelves, giving you a practical workspace that you can neatly close away when not in use. Below, a pair of cupboard doors opens onto useful internal storage with a shelf.
The design is particularly lovely from the front, with gently angled sides, softly rounded edges and the original sculpted wooden handles. When closed, the fall-front is cleverly designed to resemble a drawer, keeping the whole piece compact and nicely balanced.
A great choice for a smaller home office, living room or bedroom where you want somewhere to work without having a desk permanently on display. It also works beautifully simply as a piece of mid-century storage.
This is a vintage piece and has some age-related wear, including marks to the top and signs of use to the interior writing surface, all consistent with its age and history. The original handles and internal fittings remain in place.
