One Year on: Selling, restoring and collecting Midcentury Modern

A year ago, I decided to take my long-standing love of antique and vintage furniture a little more seriously. Since then, I’ve taught myself to restore mid-century pieces, opened and closed a permanent pitch, ventured into antiques fairs and learnt some fairly brutal lessons about retail along the way. Here’s what my first year in the trade has taught me.
