Sold — Large Mid-Century Teak Record Cabinet
A handsome mid-century teak record cabinet with a wonderfully practical mix of display and storage. The upper section is enclosed by sliding glass doors, giving you space for favourite ceramics, glassware or hi-fi accessories, while the long open shelf beneath keeps everything within easy reach.
Down below, a bank of vertical dividers provides dedicated storage for vinyl records, alongside a larger open compartment for books, speakers or additional albums. Raised on contrasting tapered black legs, the cabinet has a light, architectural feel despite offering a generous amount of storage.
The warm teak grain, simple proportions and slightly asymmetric layout give it plenty of period character without making it difficult to use in a modern room. A particularly good piece for anyone putting together a proper vinyl corner, although it would work equally well as a display cabinet or compact bookcase.
A useful and good-looking piece of 1960s/70s furniture, with exactly the sort of thoughtful storage that makes original mid-century cabinetry so appealing.
