G Plan Librenza Oak Table by E. Gomme
A handsome oak table from the G Plan Librenza range, bearing the E. Gomme stamp. The warm, honey-coloured wood sits beautifully against the black drawer fronts, with brass handles and little brass feet adding a touch of glamour.
The shape offers plenty to enjoy, too. The raised back curves gently down from the two-drawer section to the open shelving, giving it an unusually lovely, off-centre silhouette. A glass shelf keeps the right-hand side feeling light and open, while the tapered black legs echo the drawer fronts.
It would make a lovely hallway or living-room piece, with room for a lamp and a few favourite finds, plus two useful drawers for everything that doesn’t quite deserve to be on display. The oak grain is a particularly attractive feature, given plenty of space to show across the top, sides and shaped back.
The top drawer splits into three felt-lined sections, while the second drawer offers a full drawer space and that coveted G Plan Golden makers mark.

- Great condition, restored to a high standard.
- Work carried out
- Full restoration of all surfaces, complete with an oil-based top coat. Some repairds also carried out to veneer chips. All paint refreshed, and replacement drawer pulls added (solid brass) - sadly the originial pulls could not be located. This piece did originally have a mirror attached but this has been removed for more modern functionality.
