Scheurich: World famous from Westerwald
Born from West Germany’s post-war appetite for colour, texture and modern design, Scheurich became one of the country’s most prolific ceramic makers. Through the 1950s, 60s and 70s, its designers produced an extraordinary range of forms and glazes, from earthy geometric finishes to the wonderfully wild textures now associated with Fat Lava pottery. Today, Scheurich pieces bring that same warmth and character to modern interiors, with no two glazes ever seeming quite alike.
