I get asked this a lot! But sadly, I don’t refinish on commission because it’s often hard to anticipate how much work a piece will need until I actually put the sander on it. I also find the pressure… not fun. So I prefer to source and refinish furniture I choose myself.
Yes! Send me a detailed video of the piece, or I can do a home visit to quote to take it off your hands. But to be realistic, I won’t buy at refinished retail prices - I will base my pricing on recent auctions to ultimately save you fees under the hammer. Please note that I only buy midcentury furniture. If you have anything older I’d be more than happy to refer you to my most trusted auctioneers - or for clearances, I can also refer you to a safe set of hands.
Sure! I love a bit of show and tell. I have loads of resources for valuing your smaller items. Happy to help and give you an idea of what you might achieve at auction, or I can put in an offer to take it off your hands.

The only online sales I do are through Facebook and Instagram, via direct message. I don’t sell on my website or eBay/Vinted/Etsy because it’s a massive faff and a risk for everyone involved. If you see something you like that I post online, hop down to the store and have a look.
I can do local delivery for some larger furniture items that don’t fit in your car at an added cost, or arrange an AnyVan delivery service for very large items. The further it has to travel, the more expensive it is.
Well, a big part of what I do is restoring and refinishing furniture and as a one-woman-band, I have to allow time for this. That said, I’m a reasonable lass. If you want to book an out-of-hours viewing, that’s totally fine. Just let me know so I can ensure I’m actually there to greet you!
