Vintage Wheaton Dwight D. Eisenhower Iridescent Carnival Glass Bottle
A vintage Wheaton Glass commemorative bottle celebrating Dwight D. Eisenhower, the 34th President of the United States. Made in deep purple glass with an iridescent finish, it features a raised portrait of Eisenhower on one side and the inscription “Peace with Justice” on the reverse, surrounded by embossed stars.
Before serving as president from 1953 to 1961, Eisenhower was Supreme Commander of the Allied forces in Europe during the Second World War, overseeing the D-Day landings in Normandy.
This bottle belongs to Wheaton's Presidential commemorative range, introduced during the 1960s. Its circular, flask-like form and colourful carnival glass finish make it an interesting piece of American political memorabilia as well as decorative vintage glass.
