Vintage Wheaton Will Rogers Amber Carnival Glass Bottle
A vintage American commemorative bottle by Wheaton Glass, made in rich amber glass with a beautiful iridescent finish. One side features an embossed portrait of Will Rogers wearing his familiar cowboy hat, while the reverse carries his famous saying, “I never met a man I didn't like.”
William Penn Adair Rogers (1879–1935) was an American cowboy, humourist, actor and newspaper columnist whose witty observations made him one of the country's best-loved entertainers. Nicknamed the Cowboy Philosopher, his popularity continued long after his death.
Produced as part of the Wheaton Great Americans series, this decorative bottle celebrates a distinctive figure in American cultural history and is a lovely example of mid-century commemorative glass.
