Vintage Wheaton Apollo 11 Moon Landing Cobalt Blue Carnival Glass Bottle

A wonderful vintage commemorative bottle by Wheaton Glass, produced in vibrant cobalt blue glass with an iridescent finish. One side features an embossed eagle landing on the lunar surface, accompanied by the words “Apollo 11 – First on the Moon” and the date July 20, 1969. The reverse depicts the three Apollo 11 astronauts, Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins, alongside Neil Armstrong's famous words about mankind's giant leap.

On 20 July 1969, Apollo 11 became the first crewed mission to land on the Moon, with Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walking on its surface while Michael Collins remained in lunar orbit.

Produced as part of Wheaton's commemorative glass ranges, this bottle captures a remarkable moment in human history and is an appealing piece for collectors of vintage glass and space exploration memorabilia.
