Ewenny Pottery Jug
A lovely little piece of Welsh studio pottery from Ewenny Pottery, with a wonderfully rich, moody glaze. Deep chocolate brown around the rim and handle gives way to warm amber, olive and earthy tones across the body, with all the lovely variation you get from a hand-glazed piece.
The jug has a pleasingly chunky little shape, with a generous pouring lip and rounded handle. It’s a great size for a shelf or sideboard, either displayed on its own or filled with a few stems.
Hand-marked to the base, Ewenny is one of Wales’s best-known traditional potteries, with the same family producing pottery near Bridgend for generations since the 19th century.
