Multicoloured Art Glass Fish Sculpture – Murano Style
A striking art glass fish sculpture with a wonderfully fluid design and a kaleidoscope of colour running through its body.
Swirls of milky white, deep blue, black, yellow and green are suspended within the glass, punctuated by flashes of orange. The beautifully worked transparent fins and sweeping tail contrast with the colourful body, catching the light and giving the sculpture a lovely sense of movement.
The design is characteristic of Murano-style art glass, with its expressive use of colour, sculptural form and intricate glasswork. It's an especially attractive example of this decorative tradition, with plenty of detail to appreciate from different angles.
