Small Porthmadog Pottery Bowl – Yellow & Teal
A small vintage Welsh pottery bowl with a glossy butter-yellow interior that blends into a deep teal pool at the centre. The outside combines soft green, cream and ochre glazes above a rich reddish-brown base, with fine brown bands following the gently flared rim.
The underside carries the sailing-ship backstamp and “Portmadoc · Wales” wording associated with Porthmadog Pottery. The flowing colours and visible crackling in the pooled central glaze give it plenty of detail to enjoy up close.
An attractive little piece for displaying alongside other studio pottery, or for keeping jewellery and small keepsakes on a dressing table. Its earthy exterior and brighter interior make it particularly suited to a spot where you can appreciate it from above.
