Poole Pottery Hand-Painted Floral Vase – Yellow and Pink
A beautifully decorated Poole Pottery vase featuring an arrangement of stylised tulip-like flowers, leaves and scrolling foliage in sunny yellow, soft pink, turquoise and blue. Coloured bands around the neck and base frame the floral design.
The decoration reflects Poole's Traditional Ware style, developed during the 1920s under the influence of designer Truda Carter. Inspired by contemporary decorative arts, these hand-painted designs helped establish Poole Pottery as one of Britain's most recognisable names in colourful ceramics.
