Sold — Jano Clarke Trinket Box with Pointed Lid
A richly decorated trinket box by Somerset potter Jano Clarke, with a shallow circular base and a distinctive pointed lid. Cream botanical motifs sit against a shifting background of teal, moss green and rusty orange, while bands of blue and cream follow the lid up to its finely ringed tip.
There’s plenty to enjoy when you lift the lid, too, with a speckled blue-green glaze covering the interior. The warm brown rim and intricate surface decoration give the piece an earthy character.
