Blue & White Mottled Enamel Flour Bin

A wonderfully characterful vintage flour bin in bright blue and white mottled enamel, complete with its original domed lid and bold FLOUR lettering to the front. Dating from around the early-to-mid 20th century, it’s a lovely survivor from a time when kitchen storage was considerably more decorative than a row of plastic tubs.

The blue marbled finish is particularly striking, with twin side handles and a loop handle to the lid. It shows plenty of genuine age and wear, including enamel chips and surface rust, especially around the rim and lid. We think this only adds to its charm and gives it the timeworn look you’d expect from an old kitchen piece.

Perfect displayed on open shelving, used for storage, or simply enjoyed as a colourful bit of vintage kitchenalia. Because of its age and wear, we recommend using it for decoration or general storage rather than storing loose food directly inside.
