Ruby Red Art Glass Bud Vase
A striking little bud vase in rich ruby red and clear glass, with a wonderfully sculptural shape and a heavy rounded base.
The slender central stem is cased in clear glass, allowing the deep red colour to glow through from within, while the flared rim opens into an asymmetric, folded form that gives the piece plenty of movement. The substantial clear base is finished with suspended air bubbles, adding another layer of detail when the light catches it.
Its narrow opening makes it ideal for a single stem or a small, simple arrangement, although it works just as well displayed on its own as a piece of decorative glass.
A lovely bit of vintage art glass with strong mid-century styling, combining bold colour with a more delicate, elegant silhouette.
